Bigfoot Collection

The dense forests and rugged mountains of Appalachia host numerous reports of hairy, bipedal humanoid creatures. Many Native American tribes in the Appalachians and Ohio River Valley speak of hairy wild men, giants, and forest spirits. Cherokee stories mention Tsul 'Kalu (slant-eyed giants) in the mountains; and other groups referenced similar beings as being protectors, tricksters, or relatives.

Kecksburg Alien Collection

In 1965 a large fireball was seen rocketing across the sky by thousands of people in six states and parts of Canada.  Changing direction twice before landing in the woods of Kecksburg, Pennsylvania, witnesses depict the flaming object as flaming as it glided slowly to earth. The object was reported an being shaped like an acorn, and as large as a Volkswagen Beetle, with strange writing around the base.

Mothman Collection

The legend of Mothman began on November 12, 1966, when grave diggers in Clendenin, WV reported a large black figure flying overhead. Three days later, two young couples near the abandoned WWII-era West Virginia Ordnance Works encountered a 7' tall humanoid, with glowing red eyes and 10-foot wingspan. It chased their car, rising vertically while emitting a high-pitched screeching sound. This encounter was widely reported in local papers.
